ABOUT

WHO I AM

Born in Durham, North Carolina, to a loving and supportive family of 'funny people,' he was influenced by his grandfather Nick Meglin (a humorist and long-time editor/contributor of Mad Magazine), and by the comedy of Jim Carrey and Robin Williams. A lover of theater and film from an early age, Maxwell often sang and performed celebrity impressions at the dinner table. He performed in show choirs such as Spotlight, Performance Edge, Evening of Entertainment, NCMEA High School Honor's Chorus, and the North Carolina Governor's School. One of only 16 students accepted, he attended Elon University's BFA Music Theatre program, where he trained heavily in classical singing, accents/dialects, and Meisner acting.

He continues to work regularly in the film/TV industry, and to write and produce his own content.

Too many people telling me I’m special can’t have been good.

"Fans of Korn will not be disappointed; he is a delight in this role. From Spamalot to Spring Awakening to Next to Normal to The Most Happy Fella, he clearly maintains range.
